Search Engine Optimsation (SEO)Our Search Engine Optimisation follows a process that is a combination of international best practice, search engine rules, and over eight years of experience. The first step in the Search Engine Optimisation process is to review the website against international Search Engine Marketing best practice (such as W3C standards) and Google webmaster guidelines. This is so the website can be prepared as a platform for effective search engine optimisation. We pass on a list of tweaks and fixes to your website developer and give you an idea of how much billable time it should take to get done. Often we provide guidance and answer questions, then check and confirm the requirements have been met. Keyword Research and Analysis The next step is to research, identify, and help you select the most effective keyword phrases to optimise your site. Choosing the right keywords is the most important factor in determining your later success. By attracting targeted visitors you’ll be more likely to convert them into customers because they are actually looking for what your site has to offer. We start by reviewing your site and your competitors’ sites to develop a list of possible phrases and variations. Next, we analyse all the identified potential keyword phrases. We look at how many web searchers are actually using each phrase, and how many other websites are optimised for each phrase. We also consider the reasons people search on different phrases and why Google presents certain websites in its results. From here, we will highlight the phrases with the best ratio of demand versus competition, along with relevance. We believe these will maximise your Return on Investment. Ultimately you the client have final signoff combining our research and guidance with your market knowledge and experience.
